31y old french fund of hedge fund portfolio manager on holidays for an extensive period of time next month.
I got experience mostly in equity derivatives (volatility trader on the Eurostoxx 50 for 4 years) and on crude oil swaps (3 years in a big oil company) before i moved into this buy-side retiree position
I'm very interested in getting a better understanding of bond markets, same economic datas can be interpreted so differently by different markets it's always interesting to figure out what people look at.

I'm 28, and based in both Chicago/NYC (I oscillate between the two a lot). Been in FI since 2003, started at the CBOT, moved to Bear Stearns (Chi/NYC) before the axe, had a stint at a OTC broker (FX Options, some interesting stories from that) and a options MM firm.

If i had to give my area(s) of "expertise":
1) FI Yield Curve Trading (beginners' quant + fundamental)
2) CDS
3) MBS/ABS
4) Corporates (waning interest)
5) Equity Derivatives (hated it)
6) FI Research (me and my first love are finally reunited)

My time is spent lately ramping up independent research and FI trade idea generation. My idols in the industry hail from Greenwich, namely David Ader.

Looking forward to contributing some ideas and learning a lot..
